DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

Children of today are digital natives. Preparing them for the digital world ahead is vital and is a responsibility we take seriously. Viewbank Primary School believes that digital technologies should be embedded into the curriculum, therefore students use devices in the classroom when required. A 'Bring Your Own Device' 1:1 iPad Program operates in Years 5 and 6 and a school-funded 1:2 iPad Program functions in other year levels. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards. Students in specialist classes also have access to iPads and use of all digital technologies at Viewbank PS occurs safely in accordance with our Student e-Smart Code of Conduct Agreement.
