Chess

Lessons are provided each Thursday, with chess ‘guru’ Jim Cannon, teaching students strategies and tactics to improve their playing. Students are provided opportunities to compete in district competitions, with Viewbank PS hosting two such tournaments each year. Over the years, our school has placed in the top three schools in Victoria, a performance we are suitably proud of.
